Catch the bus from Rio de Janeiro early in the morning and relax on the 3-hour journey to the town of Arraial do Cabo. A quick stop along the way is made to stretch your legs, use the bathroom, and buy a snack. Explore the sea around Arraial, which is special for a very specific reason. The region experiences the upwelling phenomenon, bringing deep waters rich in marine life to the surface. The abundance of food makes Arraial one of the best diving spots in the country, with clear waters and abundant life. Leave the bus upon arrival at the Arraial do Cabo pier and board the schooner. Take a schooner tour of Arraial do Cabo's best beaches. Marvel at the green and blue waters, ripe for a dip. Explore four different stops at places like Forno Beach, Farol Beach, or the famous Atalaia Beach. Enjoy the panoramic view of Gruta Azul, a hidden cave with deep blue waters. Enjoy the crystal-clear waters and white sands before leaving the boat for a buffet lunch. Then, it's time to leave Arraial. Take the bus back to Rio, arriving around 9:00 PM. During high season, tours can take longer due to traffic and the large number of people in the city.
