Galinhos is a haven away from the busiest beaches on the state's coast, 170 km from Natal. Isolated by dunes and surrounded by saltwater that has become a peninsula, an inlet jutting out into the sea, the small fishing village charms with its simplicity. There are no cars on the streets of Galinhos, except for buggies. Access is only by boat, departing from the pier in the neighboring neighborhood of Galos. The tour begins by boat to see the mangroves up close, followed by a buggy ride through the dunes, Morro do André, and the peninsulas.
The simplicity of the location highlights the beauty of the dunes, mangroves, and deserted beaches, which, due to their high salt content, make swimming easy. Salt flats, oil fields, and gigantic windmills from wind farms are part of the landscape. Notes: -Boarding and disembarking take place at hotels in the areas: Ponta Negra, Via Costeira and Centro.
