During this tour, we will explore the main attractions of Luxembourg City. We will begin at the site where the castle that gave rise to the city once stood and continue to the oldest and most imposing church in the region.
We will visit the most important buildings, such as the Grand Ducal Palace, the former headquarters of ArcelorMittal, as well as ministries and public buildings. Along the way, we will recall the period of the Second World War and how the Luxembourgers faced those dark years.
We will wander through the narrow, historic streets of the Upper Town, visiting squares and monuments that tell the story of the country's history. We will also appreciate the beauty of the Clausen, Gründ, and Pfaffenthal valleys, true postcard views of the city.
We will also visit the ancient fortifications that protected Luxembourg and learn from them how the city expanded over the centuries. It will be an opportunity to relive the history of this small country with more than a thousand years of existence.
