IMPORTANT: Machu Picchu has implemented new tourist circuits, with three main routes each with specific variations to distribute passengers across different areas. These changes aim to enhance the visitor experience and preserve the integrity of the archaeological site. Route 2 will be prioritized, and if unavailable, options such as Circuit 3B or Circuit 1B will be provided so you can confirm your choice before tickets are issued.
The entrance fee to Machu Picchu will be included depending on the option chosen at the time of booking.
All traveler passport information is required for the Machu Picchu day tour: full name, passport number, date of birth, and nationality; otherwise, the tour will not be confirmed. VIPAC requires this information to issue the entrance fee.
The Machu Picchu ticket is non-refundable, we do not accept changes or rescheduling of dates.
Train departure times vary depending on the service and departure station. Our team will confirm all tour details promptly.
Due to high demand and limited entry to the citadel, VIPAC will issue priority access to track 2. If unavailable, track 3 will be provided after prior coordination with the passenger.
Travelers should arrive in Cusco at least one day in advance. VIPAC recommends arriving two days in advance to manage any flight cancellations or delays.
This is a shared tour, our team will contact you in Cusco to board the train and the VIPAC guide will meet you in Machu Picchu town.
There may be a wait time of up to 40 minutes in Machu Picchu town, depending on your shift entry time.

Some hotels or accommodations are located in areas where vehicle access is prohibited. Please provide hotel details so we can arrange pickup and drop-off at a nearby location, if necessary.
Easter, July, August, September and New Year are peak seasons.
Please note that if you are a Peruvian citizen, you will need a valid National Identity Card (DNI) to issue your ticket to Machu Picchu. This document must be submitted through the corresponding platform and presented on the day of your visit. The system does not allow the issuance of tickets with a passport for Peruvian citizens.
