- Visit to the Crypt of the Sé Cathedral
Come and visit the underground chapel, where the mortal remains of the Bishops of the Cathedral rest, as well as some personalities from our history, such as Chief Tibiriçá (1470-1562), who was the leader of the indigenous people who inhabited the old village, where the city of São Paulo is today.
Built 7 meters below the altar, in Gothic style, following the architectural style of the Cathedral, the Crypt is now over 100 years old; and, in addition to its beautiful architecture, it has a Brazilian exhibition on the Holy Shroud of Turin and two sculptures made of Italian Carrara marble. Come and discover its entire history and origins on a truly unique tour and walk under the levels of history.
