- Visit to Crypt from Catedral da Sé
Come and see the underground chapel, in which the remains of the Cathedral's Bishops and some personalities from our history rest; such as Cacique Tibiriçá (1470-1562), who was the leader of the indigenous people who inhabited the old village, where the city of São Paulo is today.
Built 7 meters below the altar, in Gothic style, following the architectural line of the Cathedral, the Crypt is now more than 100 years old; and, in addition to beautiful architecture, it has a Brazilian exhibition on the Holy Shroud of Turin and two sculptures made in Italian Carrara marble. Come and discover its entire history and origins on a truly unique tour and walk beneath the levels of history.
