- Guided tour of Jewish Coimbra
This guided tour will take us on a true journey through Coimbra's Jewish past, revealing the importance of the Jewish community in the history of the city and Portugal.
Along the way, we'll explore the legacy left in Coimbra, always in connection with the national context. We'll also discuss the period of World War II and learn about the story of a former university student who, defying the Portuguese regime, saved thousands of refugees in France.
During the visit, we will discover places of great importance, linked to Coimbra's Jewish past, with both national and international significance.
