Meet your guide at the Madrid City Tour information booth, next to the Prado Museum. Remember to check in 15 minutes before the tour begins. Enjoy a guided tour without waiting in line, thanks to your fast-track ticket.
Follow your guide through the museum on a tour of its most important paintings. Admire some of the most famous European works by artists such as Bosco, El Greco, Velázquez, Goya, and Rubens. Discover the original purpose for which the building was constructed, and today it houses one of the world's most famous art galleries.
The current exhibition consists of over 1,000 works from four different centuries. Since such a large number of works can be overwhelming for a novel, let your guide show you around and learn the real stories behind the paintings.
After your guided tour ends, you can stay inside the museum or return after having something to eat, as your ticket is valid until closing time. Notes: The Prado Museum reminds visitors that photography or filming is not permitted inside the exhibitions.
The visit is done entirely on foot.
We reserve the right to modify or cancel the visit due to events at the Prado Museum or for reasons of force majeure.
Important: Some of the paintings in our program may not be available on the day of your visit because they are on loan for an exhibition, even though they are part of the museum's permanent collection. If this is the case, the painting will be replaced with another of similar artistic value.
This activity/tour has a maximum of 30 people per guide.
Large crowds or security protocols may cause delays at skip-the-line entrances.
