The meeting point will be at the Fossar de les Moreres. From there, we'll head to the Picasso Museum for a pleasant stroll.
Although the Picasso Museum was initially housed in a single building, the Aguilar Palace, it has expanded over the years. It now comprises five different palaces, built between the 13th and 14th centuries. Just before entering the Picasso Museum, you can admire them all from the outside.
Once inside the Picasso Museum, we can learn about his artistic development, from his youth to his death, and also discover his time in Barcelona between 1895 and 1904. Did you know that the Picasso Museum was the first and only museum created during his lifetime as a painter? It's the perfect place to discover the details of the artist's life and career. Appreciate his artistic development through the collection, which comprises over 3,500 works and is the most comprehensive collection of works from his youth in the world.
With your guide's explanations, you will be able to learn about the five periods that marked Picasso's life: the Blue Period, the Rose Period, the Cubist Period, the Neoclassical Period and the Surrealist Period.
