During this tour, we'll explore Luxembourg City's main attractions. We'll begin at the site of the castle that gave rise to the city and continue on to the region's oldest and most imposing church.
We'll tour the most important buildings, such as the Grand Ducal Palace, the former headquarters of ArcelorMittal, as well as ministries and public buildings. Along the way, we'll reminisce about the Second World War and how Luxembourgers coped during those dark years.
We'll continue through the narrow, historic streets of the Upper Town, visiting squares and monuments that chronicle the country's history. We'll also appreciate the beauty of the Clausen, Gründ, and Pfaffenthal valleys, true postcards of the city.
We'll also visit the ancient fortifications that protected Luxembourg and learn from them how the city expanded over the centuries. It will be an opportunity to relive the history of this small country, over a thousand years old.
