On this walking tour, I'm going to show you São Paulo in a way you've never seen before.
The historic center, known as "The Triangle," hides fascinating places and stunning architecture. You'll be amazed!
Our tour will begin at the Monastery of São Bento, a religious order that came to help in the colonization process of the city's indigenous people.
You will learn the story of the city's most famous building: the Martinelli Building, where I will share all the details about this construction that caused much controversy and is marked by a past of terror and decay.
Passing through the Pátio do Colégio, the origin point of São Paulo, we will explore the history and curiosities of this oasis in the middle of the bustling city, including a visit to the Anchieta Chapel.
Next, we will visit the Solar da Marquesa de Santos and Casa Número 1, which today house art and culture exhibitions.
Next, we will visit the majestic Sé Cathedral, one of the largest Neo-Gothic temples in Latin America, which houses an organ with more than 10,000 pipes and has been the scene of numerous historical events.
The first bakery in São Paulo, Santa Tereza, will be our next stop, where you can try the famous coxa creme, considered the best coxinha in the city.
We will conclude our tour at Largo de São Francisco, where we will explore the Church of São Francisco de Assis and the Church of the Seraphic Father, two incredible Baroque buildings that hold historical treasures and much sacred art.
In addition, we will visit the first law school in São Paulo.
