On this Walking Tour, I'll show you São Paulo in a way you've never seen before.
The historic center, known as "The Triangle," hides fascinating sites and stunning architecture. You'll be amazed!
Our tour will begin at the Monastery of São Bento, a religious order that came to help in the process of colonization of the city's indigenous people.
You will learn the history of the city's most famous building: the Martinelli Building, where I will share all the details about this construction that caused a lot of controversy and was marked by a past of terror and decadence.
Passing through Pátio do Colégio, the birthplace of São Paulo, we will explore the history and curiosities of this oasis in the middle of the bustling city, including a visit to the Capela de Anchieta.
Next, we will visit the Solar da Marquesa de Santos and House Number 1, which today house art and culture exhibitions.
Afterwards, we will visit the majestic Sé Cathedral, one of the largest Neo-Gothic temples in Latin America, which houses an organ with more than 10,000 pipes and has been the scene of several historical events.
São Paulo's first bakery, Santa Tereza, will be our next stop, where you can try the famous Coxa Creme, considered the best coxinha in the city.
We will end our tour at Largo de São Francisco, exploring the Church of São Francisco de Assis and the Church of Pai Seráfico, two incredible baroque buildings that house historical riches and a wealth of sacred art.
In addition, we will visit the first law school in São Paulo.
