Hamid

I’m Hamid, born in the Sahara Desert where I grew up as a nomad among the dunes, and later moved to Marrakech to continue my studies in English, majoring in Applied Linguistics. Marrakech captured my heart, and I decided to stay to share the city I love with travelers from all over the world. Whenever I take a few days off, I drive back to my desert hometown to visit my community, spend time with nomads, support their families, and sometimes lead solidarity caravans from abroad bringing gifts and essentials to these remote villages! I enjoy reading, cooking, and playing football, and when I guide visitors in Marrakech, I love showing them the city’s treasures, Bahia Palace, the Jewish Quarter, Medersa Ben Youssef, Dar El Bacha, and the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, while sharing stories and creating memories that last!
