On this tour, we will visit the neighborhoods of Madre Deus, known as the neighborhood of Maranhão culture, stage of diverse cultural manifestations, and birthplace of the main movements and artists that represent and maintain the culture; and the neighborhood of Praia Grande, where cultural heritages are known as Bumba-meu-Boi, tambor de crioula and reggae.
Route: Departure from the hotel and visit the Madre Deus neighborhood, the birthplace of Maranhão culture. We will continue to the Praia Grande neighborhood and visit the cultural centers. Return to the hotel.
Main attractions: Largo do Caroçudo, Ceprama, General Hospital, Chapel of Saint Peter, Maranhão House, Reggae Museum and Crioula Drum House.
