PasseioWine tasting in the countryside of Nice

The first stop on our tour will be Grasse.

We will discover how the city, once known for its leather production, became over the centuries the world capital of perfume. We will explore the old town and discover the famous Fragonard perfume factory on a guided tour.

We will stroll through the cobbled streets of the medieval village of Valbonne, built in the 16th century under the direction of monks from the Lérins Islands. We will discover its crafts and cafés. We will enjoy free time to have lunch on your own in a typical restaurant on the main square.

Head upstream to Le Loup to reach Gourdon, the Eagle's Nest that dominates the valley from atop a vertiginous 760-meter peak. You will be captivated by the view of the entire French Riviera. Stroll through the streets of the village amidst restored old houses and craft shops. Admire the castle built in the 13th century and restored in the 17th century.

A rectangular building that displays several collections: ancient weapons and armor, 17th century furniture, tapestries and Aubusson sculptures. On the way back, we will visit a winery located in the heart of the Bellet vineyard, above Nice. The site offers incredible views of the sea and the vineyards sailing over the hills. A tasting of local wines will be offered.
