- Bird Park
The site has 16 hectares of secondary jungle, of which 7 hectares are designated for facilities and the remainder for the preservation area.
The tour is conducted via signposted walkways through the jungle. These lead to various aviaries, each measuring 630 m² and 8 meters high, enriched by waterfalls, bridges, and abundant vegetation, where visitors can observe the behavior of various bird species. Other smaller aviaries feature species from Southeast Asia, Oceania, and Africa.
One of the aviaries houses local moths and hummingbirds. Another natural setting houses alligators and reptile aviaries. Halfway along the trail, you'll see a boa constrictor up close. At the end, we'll find a restaurant with an exclusive view of Flamingo Lake.
The park maintains over 900 birds of 150 species, the majority of which are Brazilian. One-third of the species are considered endangered. All birds in the park come from zoos, IBAMA-authorized breeders, and rehabilitation centers. All animals are registered with the Brazilian Zoological Society and IBAMA. The park has facilities including a souvenir shop, restrooms, and a snack bar. Ideal for the whole family.
