Let's visit Buraco das Araras, one of the most impressive and surprising places in the region, capable of enchanting visitors of all ages. It is a natural sinkhole, an enormous geological formation that impresses with its dimensions: approximately 127 meters deep and about 500 meters in diameter, creating a unique and breathtaking landscape.
This true natural sanctuary is home to approximately 50 pairs of macaws, mostly scarlet macaws, which constantly fly overhead in a vibrant spectacle of colors and sounds, while tending to their nests in the sinkhole walls. At certain times, it is possible to observe flocks flying in groups, providing an exciting and unforgettable scene for visitors.
For better birdwatching, several viewpoints equipped with telescopes have been installed around the sinkhole, allowing close observation not only of macaws, but also other species that inhabit the area, such as curicacas, caracaras, blackbirds, gralhas, parrots, and parakeets, making the tour even richer in biodiversity.
Access to Buraco das Araras is via a walk of approximately 970 meters through the riparian forest, a pleasant and contemplative route where it is already possible to spot various birds along the trail, offering a true warm-up for the experience to come.
Visiting Buraco das Araras is a unique and unforgettable experience that combines extraordinary landscapes, intense contact with nature, and learning. The use of sneakers or sandals is mandatory.

There is no lunch option on this tour; however, there is a reception area with drinks for sale and a souvenir shop.
Children up to 5 years old do not pay.

Low season: Changes are only accepted with 48 hours' notice (considering business days), noting that any change requested by the client will be subject to cancellation policies, as well as availability.

* Cancellation is understood as the withdrawal from the trip and/or the contracted service, as well as changes to dates, communicated in writing (letter or email).
Cancellation policies will be applied according to the following percentages of the total package price (considering business days):
LOW SEASON – (TOURS)
Up to 3 days before check-in = 30% no-show rate (EXCEPT for Gruta do Lago Azul, which has a 100% no-show rate regardless of the date and cancellation period).
After that date, it is considered part of the full show.
* No-show: Failure to appear without prior written notice on the scheduled arrival date will be considered a "no-show". NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.
* Cancellation after the start of the tour: Cancellation, as well as early departure for any reason, WILL NOT ENTITLE YOU TO ANY TYPE OF REFUND, CASH REIMBURSEMENT OR CREDIT FOR ANOTHER TOUR, resulting in the total loss of the amount paid for the package or tour.
HIGH SEASON – (OTHER TOURS)
Up to 15 days before check-in = 30% NO SHOW fee, after this date the full show fee (100%) will be charged.
* No-show: Failure to appear without prior written notice on the scheduled arrival date will be considered a "no-show". NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.
* Cancellation after the start of the tour: Cancellation, as well as early departure for any reason, WILL NOT ENTITLE YOU TO ANY TYPE OF REFUND, CASH REIMBURSEMENT OR CREDIT FOR ANOTHER TOUR, resulting in the total loss of the amount paid for the package or tour.
Accommodation in Bonito: Up to 30 days before check-in, a 30% no-show fee is charged; from 29 days until check-in, the full no-show fee is applied.
