On this tour, we will embark on an enchanting journey that combines history, nature and faith. Our adventure begins at the Belo Horizonte train station, from where we will depart by train towards the city of Barão de Cocais, enjoying a journey full of beautiful landscapes.
Upon arrival, we will drive to the Caraça Sanctuary, a place that combines spirituality, architecture and lush nature. Soon after arriving, we will take a light walk of approximately 2 km to the Cascatinha Waterfall, a stunning setting where we will have time to relax, take photos and, if you wish, take a shower in the waterfall.
On the way back to the sanctuary, we will have lunch at a local restaurant (meal not included) and then take a tour of the complex, visiting historical spaces such as the Cloister, the Catacombs, the imposing neo-Gothic Church, the Museum, the Stations of the Cross, as well as taking the opportunity to buy souvenirs from the region.
We ended the day returning to Belo Horizonte, taking with us memories of the natural beauty and cultural value of one of the most special places in Minas Gerais.
