If you want to visit two of Quintana Roo's most iconic ruins, swim in a cenote, and enjoy a typical Mexican buffet lunch, this is the tour for you!
Drive to Cobá early in the morning to visit this incredible site before the crowds arrive. This ancient Mayan city is situated near five lakes, which were crucial to its development between 100 and 300 BC. Discover its history and that of the people who inhabited this magical place.
The next stop will be Chichén Itzá, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. There, our local guide will provide all the information you need to immerse yourself in Mayan culture and the mysteries of this archaeological site. This UNESCO World Heritage site is an important relic of the Mayan civilization. Here, we'll discover why this enormous city played such a pivotal role from the Late Classic period to the early Postclassic period, and why it continued to be a major pilgrimage center.
From here, we'll meet an authentic Mayan community, who will teach us how they make their crafts and show us their lifestyle after so many years of following the Mayan tradition. They'll also prepare a typical Mexican buffet lunch so we can savor the country's traditional cuisine.
Now it's time to visit an incredible cenote, where you can swim and relax beside its impressive waterfall. After admiring the view, you'll enjoy a short visit to Valladolid, where you'll see its most iconic buildings and have free time to explore on your own and take the best souvenir photos.
