Visit this charming city where traces of German culture are evident in every detail. In the historic center, visit the Biergarten with the Beer Museum, the Colonial Family Museum (optional), the Cat Cemetery, the Palm Tree Avenue, and the Dr. Blumenau Mausoleum containing the remains of the city's founder. Photo stop at the City Hall. Visit the Vila Germânica Park, the venue for Oktoberfest, where shops sell souvenirs of the festival and other German-themed items. Stop for shopping for knitwear during the tour.
