Walking the streets of São Luís's Historic Center is a chance to experience literary and religious scenes, savor local cuisine, and realize how warmly the people of Maranhão welcome visitors. The city is an island enchanting with its beauty, legends, and history. Surrounded by beaches with warm waters year-round, São Luís, a World Heritage City since 2007, offers visitors centuries-old streets lined with colonial buildings and tiles.
Itinerary: Depart the hotel, passing by the beaches of Calhau, São Marcos, Ponta D'areia, and Lagoa da Jansen, to the Historic Center, walking along the cobblestone streets. The tour will visit the city's main landmarks, places that preserve evidence of São Luís's history.

The Palácio dos Leões (Wednesday to Sunday) and the Teatro Arthur Azevedo (Monday to Friday) are open to visitors only in the afternoon, starting at 2 p.m. The museums are closed on Mondays for maintenance.
