Let's wake up early to escape the heat and see Damnoen Saduak at its most vibrant. Damnoen Saduak is Thailand's most popular floating market, offering fantastic photo opportunities, delicious cuisine, and a glimpse into a bygone era.
Together, we'll depart Bangkok at 7:30 a.m. and head to Ratchaburi province. This province is home to the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, and there's plenty to see and do. You can even make a quick stop to visit a traditional Thai house, where you can watch locals making brown coconut sugar! From there, you can explore the house and its surroundings. It's a fun activity because there are many different animals living on the coconut plantation.
Afterwards, you'll continue your journey by boarding a longtail boat for a cruise along the narrow canals that will take you to the floating market. See the local houses along the canals and observe their way of life as you pass. Upon arrival at the market, see the fantastic variety of vendors on their boats, selling fresh produce, from fruits and vegetables to prepared dishes.
Explore the floating market for an hour and take time to sample some of the most delicious and authentic Thai foods, such as Pad Thai, mango sticky rice, boat noodles, or coconut ice cream sold along the canal. Then, after everything you've done for the day, it's time to meet up with your guide and head back to the meeting point in Bangkok, where you'll arrive around 1:30–2:00 PM. Notes:
