A tour to visit majestic landscapes, travel back in time, and enjoy the tranquility that a Valladolid town like Cachi can offer. You'll travel scenic routes (Quebrada de Escoipe and Cuesta del Obispo) that, along with the charming destination, form a captivating combination. You'll travel to a magical city located in the northwest Calchaquí Valleys of Salta, surrounded by imposing mountains, snow-capped peaks, plateaus, and colonial architecture that will transport you back in time. But not only will the destination surprise you; the journey, along various national and provincial routes, is one of the most beautiful in Argentina. You'll depart from the city of Salta, traveling through the central part of the Lerma Valley and entering the sub-Andean highlands. Here you can explore and admire the landscapes of the Quebrada de Escoipe and Cuesta del Obispo. You'll experience contrasting landscapes and climates: you'll pass from the humid and lush Yungas jungles to the arid, cold, and inhospitable Puna. During the ascent, you'll enjoy spectacular views, towering hills, and the majestic condor watching over you from the sky. At Piedra del Molino, you'll reach the highest point, 3,457 meters above sea level, and then descend towards the Tin-Tin Strait in Los Cardones National Park to finally reach Cachi. Once there, you'll see its museum and church, and have the opportunity to wander freely through its narrow streets. During the tour there are stops to walk and take photos!
