You can admire unmissable works of art from all time in the city's greatest museums, along with treasures housed within one of the world's most beautiful cathedrals.
Your guide will first take you to the Accademia Gallery for a full immersion in Michelangelo's art, discovering his most renowned work, the David, as well as other important works of art such as the Prisoners, the San Matteo, and the Palestrina Pietà. The young Michelangelo carved the David from a massive block of raw marble in three years, creating an imposing sculpture of absolute beauty, an icon of the Renaissance model and a symbol of the power and invincibility of the Florentine Republic at the time of its greatest splendor.
Next, follow your guide inside the Uffizi Gallery, one of the world's most famous art galleries. Here you can admire countless works of art by Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello, Giotto, Cimabue, Masaccio, and many others. Among the Gallery's precious exhibition rooms, the most renowned contains Botticelli's exquisite works, including the absolute masterpieces "Primavera" and "Birth of Venus."
Finally, you'll arrive at Piazza del Duomo, ready to admire the Cathedral's interior, a treasure trove of priceless artistic treasures. Once inside the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, you'll be immediately struck by the elegance of the three naves. Led by your expert guide, you'll admire the beauty of Bandinelli's splendid marble choir, the complex of precious stained-glass windows by Donatello, Ghiberti, and Andrea del Castagno, and the unique and mysterious clock by Paolo Uccello. You'll also be amazed to walk on a marvelous carpet of polychrome marble. Then, looking up, you'll see the immense and precious interior of the Dome, entirely painted by Vasari. Brunelleschi's famous Dome is the largest ever built in masonry and an incomparable icon of Renaissance architecture.
