The Horseback Riding Experience is a horseback ride through the Estancia 25 de Mayo Nature Reserve, where we can experience the immensity of the Patagonian landscape, discovering canyons, streams and stories of the southern gauchos, enjoying a country lunch at Cueva del Río.
The starting point is the headquarters of Estancia 25 de Mayo, where we will have a brief technical talk and, after equipping ourselves with helmets and gaiters, we will leave the corrals heading south, crossing the Calafate Stream Canyon.
Along the way, we'll cross streams and geological formations that bear witness to the passage of millions of years. The canyon formed by these rocks protects us from the region's characteristic winds, while we gain altitude along the way.
After an hour and a half of riding, we arrive at Cueva del Río, where the gauchos responsible for the crossing prepare a delicious country lunch for us. To complete the experience, they offer us a toast with wine before we return to the Estancia 25 de Mayo headquarters.
