This unmissable experience begins at the "Bajo de las Sombras" port, inside Los Glaciares National Park. From there, you will board a boat that will cross the Brazo Rico towards the west coast.
After the crossing, the guides greet the visitors and provide detailed information about the activity.
At the shelter located here, you can leave your personal belongings and use the restrooms.
Groups of up to 20 people begin a 20-minute hike to the glacier. With crampons already in place, the hike begins by crossing the ice.
The glacier tour lasts approximately 2 hours, during which you can observe ice formations, learn about the flora, fauna and glaciology of the region, and gain a better understanding of the famous calving phenomenon of the Perito Moreno Glacier.
Next, you will return to the refuge through the Magellanic Forest. There, you can have lunch (not included — you must bring your own food and drink) with a privileged view of the Perito Moreno Glacier.
Next, the return trip across the Brazo Rico of Lake Argentino is completed, sailing in front of the glacier. It is also possible to appreciate the view of the glacier from the walkways — a unique way to appreciate its grandeur.
This tour is only suitable for people between the ages of 8 and 65.
Participation is not permitted for individuals with cardiovascular or respiratory problems, physical or mental disabilities, pregnant women, obese individuals, people with severe dizziness, or those who have recently undergone surgery. No exceptions.
