ITINERARY
We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 4:30 am and depart for the Sacsayhuaman site, where an exciting hot air balloon ride will take place.
First, we'll watch the balloon being filled and observe how the hot air rises and inflates the balloon. Then, we'll climb into the basket to ascend to a height of 100 meters for an estimated 15 minutes. We'll be tethered to giant ropes anchored to the ground.
We'll see the Andean city of Cusco and the Sacsayhuaman fortress, one of the Inca's greatest architectural masterpieces. Besides serving as a defense during the Spanish conquest, it is believed to have been a place of worship for the Sun God.
We'll also have an aerial view of Mount Pukamuqu and part of the Andes Mountains. A unique image that will stay etched in your retinas.
Upon stepping off the plane, we'll toast with a glass of champagne and enjoy a picnic breakfast to replenish our energy. Did you know that toasting after a flight is traditional?
Finally, we will take you to your hotel in Cusco, where your arrival is expected at 9:30 am. Notes: Reservations can be made up to the day before departure.
