The creator of the traveling museum, visual artist Essam Elbattal, born in the city of Sharkia, Egypt, has always demonstrated a deep inclination for the visual arts since childhood. At the age of 16, he dedicated himself to creating works inspired by ancient Egypt, basing his work on research by renowned international Egyptologists. The artist's private collection consists of over 400 pieces, including a pyramid over 8 meters high, mummies, sarcophagi, and burial chambers, which are replicas of the most famous historical artifacts exhibited in museums in Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, the Louvre, London, Berlin, and the Vatican, within a themed space of over 1,000 m². The Canela Egyptian Museum offers a fascinating journey through the rich history of Ancient Egypt.

The grandeur of the architectural remains, the riches found in the pyramids, ruins, and tombs, the mysteries surrounding the art and the buildings themselves—all contribute to making the history of the land of the pharaohs a vibrant and current topic.
