The visit consists of a climb up the tower of the Pedras de Canela Cathedral.
It has a museum of sacred art, telling the story of the Cathedral and Canon João Marchesi (its creator), narrated by hundreds of objects that portray the customs, religiosity and culture of Canela, between the 1940s and 1970s.
The climb ends at the set of bells called Carrilhão da Independência, made up of 12 bronze bells manufactured by Fundição Giacomo Crespi, in São Paulo, weighing around four tons.
