Enjoy incredible views from The Shard's observation deck, twice the height of any other observation deck in the city. The breathtaking views of the world's largest city span an incredible 40 miles (64 km) from a staggering 1,000 feet (310 meters) above sea level. The elevator travels at six meters per second, meaning you'll go from the 1st to the 68th floor in about 60 seconds! The main observation gallery, on the 69th floor, boasts three spectacular stories, flooded with light during the day and the perfect place to see London's bright lights at night. For an even more sublime experience, venture to the partially open-air observation gallery on the 72nd floor. Exposing yourself to the elements at this breathtaking height, you'll be surrounded by the famous "shards" of glass that form the top of The Shard.
