Be prepared to be picked up at your hotel in Bangkok by Elephants World volunteers. Along the way, you'll discover many interesting facts about elephants. Learn about their lives, the plight of Thailand's numerous elephants, and the efforts to save these beautiful animals. They'll also provide a valuable insight into the connection between elephants and their mahouts, or guardians. There's a ton to learn along the way.
Upon arrival at the camp, the experience begins. Be ready to meet the elephants and join their mahouts as they go about their daily routine: scavenging for food in the desert, cutting sugar sticks, or harvesting bananas. While the elephants feed, you'll have the opportunity to get up close to the attractive mammoths and see their incredibly dexterous trunks in real life. After this fun activity, you'll return to the main camp area for a delicious Thai lunch. After lunch, you'll return to the desert, where the elephants will take their afternoon bath in the River Kwai Yai. Witness these beautiful creatures relaxing and playing. After this relaxing and enjoyable activity, you'll follow the elephants to their resting place for the night. After this fantastic experience with Asia's most beloved elephants, you'll bid farewell to the Elephant World team upon returning to your hotel in Kanchanaburi. 3:20 pm -3:30 pm 2nd feeding time and end the program.
16:00 pm - 19:00 pm Depart Kanchanaburi and return to Bangkok (back to your hotel).
