The experience at Lagoa Misteriosa begins at the reception area, from where visitors follow an interpretive trail of approximately 600 meters through native vegetation. Along the way, it's possible to learn interesting facts about the fauna, flora, and natural formations of the region, making the walk both enjoyable and enriching. At the end of the trail, visitors reach a viewpoint offering a privileged view of the lagoon, followed by a 179-step staircase leading to the visitor area.
After descending the staircase, visitors have a special moment to contemplate the Mysterious Lagoon, known for its unique beauty and deep waters. Under ideal conditions, a circular float trip is offered, allowing visitors to observe the impressive underwater scenery and the unique sensation of being suspended in deep waters.
The return journey involves climbing the stairs and then continuing along an interpretive trail of about 500 meters, leading back to the reception area, concluding the tour in a peaceful and nature-integrated way.
During the warmest period of the year, between October and March, underwater algae naturally proliferate, giving the water a greenish hue and reducing the lagoon's characteristic visibility. At this time, the proliferation can reach depths of about 15 meters or more, making snorkeling impossible. Even so, the site remains open for visitation and contemplation, providing an equally special experience in contact with this natural phenomenon.

Footwear with ankle straps and non-slip soles (sandals, sneakers, boots) is mandatory for hiking and stair climbing.
It is forbidden to use sunscreen, insect repellent, and tanning lotion during the snorkeling period.
The Mysterious Lagoon is connected to the Rio da Prata attraction, however, the activities of the attraction are not included in this price (we recommend booking extra activities in advance).
**Attention! Regular transport departs at 7:00 AM and is estimated to return at 5:00 PM, as the same vehicle serves both the Rio da Prata and Buraco das Araras routes on the same day. (Subject to operational adjustments)**
High season: Changes are only accepted with 72 hours' notice (considering business days), noting that any change requested by the client will be subject to cancellation policies, as well as availability.
Low season: Changes are only accepted with 48 hours' notice (considering business days), noting that any change requested by the client will be subject to cancellation policies, as well as availability.

* Cancellation is understood as the withdrawal from the trip and/or the contracted service, as well as changes to dates, communicated in writing (letter or email).
Cancellation policies will be applied according to the following percentages of the total package price (considering business days):
LOW SEASON – (TOURS)
Up to 3 days before check-in = 30% no-show rate (EXCEPT for Gruta do Lago Azul, which has a 100% no-show rate regardless of the date and cancellation period).
After that date, it is considered part of the full show.
* No-show: Failure to appear without prior written notice on the scheduled arrival date will be considered a "no-show". NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.
* Cancellation after the start of the tour: Cancellation, as well as early departure for any reason, WILL NOT ENTITLE YOU TO ANY TYPE OF REFUND, CASH REIMBURSEMENT OR CREDIT FOR ANOTHER TOUR, resulting in the total loss of the amount paid for the package or tour.
HIGH SEASON – (OTHER TOURS)
Up to 15 days before check-in = 30% NO SHOW fee, after this date the full show fee (100%) will be charged.
* No-show: Failure to appear without prior written notice on the scheduled arrival date will be considered a "no-show". NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.
* Cancellation after the start of the tour: Cancellation, as well as early departure for any reason, WILL NOT ENTITLE YOU TO ANY TYPE OF REFUND, CASH REIMBURSEMENT OR CREDIT FOR ANOTHER TOUR, resulting in the total loss of the amount paid for the package or tour.
Accommodation in Bonito: Up to 30 days before check-in, a 30% no-show fee is charged; from 29 days until check-in, the full no-show fee is applied.
