The Doge's Palace is one of Venice's most important symbols. For centuries, it represented the seat of Venetian political power. In its majestic rooms, the Duke and his Council controlled the destiny of the Serenissima for centuries, surrounded by hundreds of masterpieces of painting.
We'll tour its halls, its majestic golden staircases, and admire important paintings. We'll have the opportunity to step back in time and breathe in the enchanting atmosphere of this place where Byzantine and Oriental architecture merge.
Inside the Palace, we will admire some of the most famous works painted by Tintoretto, Veronese and other important artists.
In the end, we will feel the anguish of the prisoners, who after crossing the famous Bridge of Sighs entered the darkness of the prisons (famous for having hosted Giacomo Casanova).
