After pickup at hotels in Barreirinhas, guests will head to the pier where they will board a speedboat to begin their trip along the mighty Preguiças River, whose calm waters belie its name. Along its banks, they will spot creeks, mangroves, buriti palms, juçara (açaí) trees, tucunzeiros (sea lions), and herons and sandpipers. A stop will be made at the community of Vassouras, also known as Pequenos Lençóis, to enjoy delicious coconut water (not included) and possibly interact with the capuchin monkeys that live there. Next, passengers will arrive in Mandacarú, a small fishing village, and soon after, continue to Caburé, an arm of dunes located between the river and the sea, with cabins for lunch, drinks (optional options not included), and restrooms. Return to Barreirinhas, with an estimated arrival time of 3:00 PM. Notes: * Wear light clothing and swimwear.
