We'll leave our hotels in Curitiba by bus at 7:00 a.m. and head to the train station to board the train to Morretes. There, we'll visit the historic part of the city, with its colonial mansions, craft market, and churches. Afterwards, we'll stop for lunch on the banks of the Nhundiaquara River and savor Barreado, a traditional Paraná dish, slow-cooked in a clay pot for several hours, making the meat very tender. It's served with rice, sliced bananas, oranges, and cassava flour, accompanied by breaded fish. Simply irresistible.
At the end of the day, return by van to Curitiba via Estrada da Graciosa, one of the most picturesque roads in Brazil.
