We will begin the tour by going to Koricancha or Temple of the Sun, located 2 blocks from the main square, then continue on to Sacsayhuaman, the second largest temple dedicated to the sun in the Inca Empire; Qenqo, a place of worship, mysterious and impressive for its rock work; Tambomachay, a place dedicated to the rest of the Incas with hydraulic projects and finally we will visit Pukapukara, the entry control point to the capital of the empire "Cusco".
On the second day, we will visit the impressive archaeological complex of Moray, a kind of biological/genetic research laboratory for Andean products. We will also visit the Salineras de Maras, the most impressive salt mines that have been worked in an artisanal way since Inca times and supply this necessary product to the entire southern region of the country.
On the third day, we will have a spectacular tour at the foot of Ausangate with a fascinating hike to Rainbow Mountain, a physical and mental challenge that will renew us from head to toe, and we will have a buffet lunch in Cusipata before returning to Cusco.
On the fourth day, we chose the best team to accompany us on this cultural adventure to discover the Sacred Valley and its imposing Inca cities such as Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero, surrounded by terraces and beautiful views of the valley, and these in turn, are complemented by an inevitable stroll through the craft markets.
On the fifth day, we will take a panoramic and impressive journey through the Vilcanota Valley, combining sections by car and train, to finally take a tour of the magical Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. We will visit the famous sundial, the solar tower, the temple of the 3 windows and many other secrets to discover with our team.
On the sixth and final day, we can take advantage of this morning to go shopping and enjoy the atmosphere of the magical city of Cusco. At the indicated time, our driver and staff will pick us up at our accommodation and take us to the Cusco airport so we can board our flight home or to our next destination.
