You'll have the opportunity to relax by the sea, savor delicious local cuisine, and visit a thrilling ostrich farm. Ostriches are fantastic creatures, and this experience allows you to observe them up close while enjoying the pleasures of Pimentel Beach.
ITINERARY
We begin with a visit to the Giant Bird Rescue Center. A breeding and rescue center for birds such as suri, rhea, and ostrich, native to the mountains of Peru, Australia, and Africa, respectively. Here, visitors can take a guided tour and come face-to-face with these wonderful birds, learning a lot about them.
Pimentel Park was a project initiated in 1995, but only came to fruition in March 1997, with the arrival of eleven young African ostriches into Peru (for the first time). The ostriches were installed in the Baldera de Pimentel area, where they underwent complete adaptation.
Then we went to PRAIA DE PIMENTE, where port activities and fishing are the main occupations of its inhabitants. The beach is very beautiful and very busy in the summer months.
We continued on to CALETA DE SANTA ROSA, a primarily fishing beach, where you can see countless fishing boats and totora horses. The sea is generally calm and warm, and its attraction is primarily visual.
Next, we travel to MONSEFU, one of the Lambayecan towns with a deep and vibrant history. It's essential to understand its history, as understanding its history will help us understand much of its reality. We'll visit the ARTISAN PARK, where, in addition to other shops and multi-family workshops, all kinds of artisanal products are sold, covering several stalls along two blocks. It's a tourist hub, where you'll find high-quality local and national handicrafts.
Then I go back to the city. Notes: Reservations can be made up to the day before departure.
