- Tour in Sabará and Congonhas departing from Belo Horizonte

Sabará was the first settlement in Minas Gerais and is home to peaceful and welcoming people. The city receives visitors who seek to renew their faith in 18th-century churches or to enjoy the tranquility and famous gastronomic festivals.
Its sumptuous churches are richly ornamented and feature works by great Baroque and Rococo artists, such as the master Aleijadinho. Its Historic Center is an open-air museum with a very well-preserved collection, which clearly demonstrates the city's transformation during the Gold Rush.
The city annually hosts two popular gastronomic festivals: the Jabuticaba Festival and the Ora-pro-nóbis Festival. It also boasts a strong artisanal production, primarily represented by Baroque Palm and Turkish Lace.
Congonhas: Located 70 km from Belo Horizonte, in the Alto Paraopeba region, Congonhas receives tourists from various parts of Brazil and the world to appreciate the great work of the Baroque artist Antônio Francisco Lisboa, better known as Aleijadinho.
At the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus de Matozinhos, the master Aleijadinho sculpted the famous life-size images of twelve prophets in soapstone. Another attraction in Congonhas is the six chapels that make up the Garden of the Steps in front of the Basilica, representing the Stations of the Cross with beautiful cedar wood images also made by Aleijadinho.
Due to its immense richness and grandeur, this complex was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
