Chinchero, Moray, and the Inca City of Ollantaytambo: We will visit the most notable sites of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop will be the town of Chinchero, the most typical and picturesque of the Sacred Valley, where we will admire its Inca archaeological complex and beautiful colonial church. Chinchero is also famous for its women weavers, who can teach us the ancient Inca techniques of dyeing and spinning alpaca wool. We will continue to Moray, a beautiful and intriguing Inca archaeological complex composed of colossal concentric terraces simulating a large amphitheater. During Inca times, it served as an agricultural laboratory where various microclimates were recreated. Lunch at one of the area's restaurants. Finally, we conclude our tour by visiting the fabulous archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo, an important military, religious, and agricultural center for the Incas. We will visit the Temple of the Ten Windows, the baths of the ñusta, the Temple of the Sun, among other places of interest. The postcard views from the heights of Ollantaytambo will close this magical day in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
