We begin with a magical stroll through the main bay, overlooking the mangroves, which are home to a garden of interesting species.
Next, we head to the group of islets, formed by Haynes Cay and Rose Cay. The first, of coral origin, is home to restaurants serving traditional cuisine. The second can be crossed via the new floating bridge to the elongated sandbar, which can shrink with the tides.
Its crystal clear waters house a natural aquarium, which can be seen with the naked eye.
An ideal place to spend a peaceful day with the little ones in the family. Notes: The islet tour is not open to adults over 65, pregnant women, or people with disabilities (in wheelchairs or requiring special assistance getting on and off the boats).
