ABOUT THE GONDOLA:

Considered one of the most exquisite and graceful vessels in existence, the Venetian gondola is steeped in tradition and craftsmanship. Constructed using unique techniques, these magnificent vessels hold profound symbolic meaning, such as the gondola's intricately designed ironwork (or prow) with its multifaceted shape. Known as pettini, these prows symbolize the six divisions, or Sestieri, of Venice.

Made of iron, the "iron" has a dual purpose: it provides balance for gondoliers and evokes the graceful flow of the Grand Canal's waters, capturing in its elegant S-shape the essence of Venice's fluidity.

* This is a shared gondola (up to 5 people each) so the gondola can be shared with others

*If you choose economy seating, you will be randomly assigned a seat, and a seat next to your companion or family member may not be guaranteed. You may also be seated in a different gondola.

*Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended

* Babies up to 1 year old can travel free of charge if they are sitting on their parents' lap.

* No refunds will be accepted for no-shows or late arrivals.

* The Gondola Ride will take place rain or shine, only in case of very heavy rain it may be canceled and the tour will be refunded (if it is not carried out on another day/time)

* Please be aware that starting April 25th and on certain dates, registration and payment of an access fee will be required to visit the city of Venice.
