- Moray Salt Mines Tour
On this tour, we will visit the impressive archaeological complex of Moray, considered a kind of agricultural laboratory for the Incas, where biological and genetic experiments were carried out with Andean products. Its enormous circular depressions created ideal microclimates for the cultivation of various species, being a true example of Inca agricultural engineering.
Next, we will visit the Salineras de Maras, a group of thousands of salt mines that have been worked manually since the time of the Incas. These mines are still active today and supply salt to the entire southern region of Peru, enchanting visitors with their unique and traditional beauty.
And to make this experience even more exciting, you can choose to take the tour on quad bikes, adding a touch of adventure to the itinerary with a special upgrade. A fun and unforgettable way to explore the Andean landscapes!
The two tour options have different departure times. Please read the general rules for more information and choose the option that best suits your schedule.
