TourWine tour in Manarola

Strolling through the vineyards, wine tasting in the cellar! Discover the winemaking traditions of Manarola with Alessandro, a young winemaker from the beautiful Cinque Terre village.

You'll depart from the center of Manarola and, as you walk along the main road leading to the port, you'll have the opportunity to admire the typical colorful houses and fishing boats parked along the street. Next, you'll climb up to the cemetery, which is located in a fantastic area with stunning views, from where you can truly appreciate Manarola and even a partial view of Corniglia. After walking along an ancient path through lush gardens, you'll arrive at Alessandro's vineyards, where he'll teach you how to identify the different grape varieties and the different methods of pruning and cultivating grapes. The path takes you past the Church of San Lorenzo, and after a little further walking, you'll reach Alessandro's winery, where you'll taste his DOC-approved Cinque Terre white wine, accompanied by typical Ligurian focaccia. Alessandro is also a member of the Manarola Cinque Terre Foundation, created in 2014 to protect the village's cultural heritage. A portion of the proceeds from this tour are donated to help support the Foundation's goals.
