The dirt road, the fresh air, the natural beauty, the colonial houses, and the visits to Italian and German families provide unforgettable moments in the Quilombo Valley, Linha 28, in the Gramado countryside. Alongside hills of dense vegetation, rivers, and waterfalls, passing through fields of araucaria trees, kiwi vines, and grapes aboard a charming themed van, tourists discover the natural beauty hidden within Gramado.
On this tour, we'll visit the MARCON FAMILY, where Italian couple Vicente and Fatima Marcon share the story of their ancestors at the family memorial, showing objects their parents used, how to plant corn, and how to manage the animals. Visitors are invited to hand-feed the sheep. To conclude this stop, everyone enjoys a delicious grape juice, accompanied by bread and jams made by Marcon.
The tour continues to ALAMBIQUE DOS ROSSAS, where the art of cachaça production is a defining feature of this part of the tour. The guide is owner and producer Romeu Rossa, who shares his family's story. Visitors witness the production of cachaça from the still, starting with the sugarcane harvest. Amidst a field dominated by greenery, visitors can sample these delicacies.
To conclude our tour, we stop at the BARETTA FAMILY, a century-old half-timbered house that once housed a kerb hall. Visitors are greeted by owner Jovani Baretta, who serves a delicious local coffee (with wine included) that captures the family's history and traditions. At this point, the family's famous kerb dance begins, where the guitarist begins to play and everyone is invited to dance and sing.
