A special itinerary for those who want to learn about and experience German culture, imprinted on the architecture and tradition of Nova Petrópolis. At the Pedras do Silêncio Sculpture Park, the story of German immigrants is told in more than 80 sandstone works created by sculptors from Rio Grande do Sul. We'll also visit the Immigrant Village, where we'll see a recap of the entire history of the arrival of German immigrants. We'll also go to Praça das Flores, famous for its flowerbeds filled with seasonal plants and for housing the Green Labyrinth, which challenges visitors to follow a secret path amidst the cypress trees. At Casa Sander, located in the Nove Colônias region—colonized by Germans from Bohemia—we'll learn about the production of fruits, jams, and artisanal juices. At Cervejaria Edelbrau, themed rooms, stories of the region and the roots of local culture, curiosities, and many other attractions introduce the public to the fascinating world of beer. From hops to production, the space offers a journey through the aromas of the ingredients, textures, stories, and flavors of the various styles of Edelbrau beers. We'll also stop for shopping at Mukli Alfajores, which handcrafts alfajores made with authentic Uruguayan dulce de leche.
