On this tour, we'll depart from the South Zone and head towards Barra da Tijuca. Once there, our tour will continue along the beach.
We'll pass through Barra, Recreio dos Bandeirantes, Prainha, and Grumari. Just descend the mountain and we'll soon reach the starting point of our hike. We estimate it will take about 2.5 hours to complete the hike and explore.
There are several viewpoints along the way. When you reach the
at the top of Pedra do Telégrafo, you'll feel a strong emotion! It's sure to be an unforgettable sight!
From up there, we can see the Marambaia Restinga and its mangroves, in their entirety, reigning supreme. Pedra da Gávea in the distance... with all its magic! We can also see a good part of Pedra Branca State Park, home to wild beaches like Praia dos Búzios and
from Perigoso, going along the side of Pedra da Tartaruga.
We also see Tijuca National Park, home to Corcovado Mountain, which, if we're lucky, we might spot, and, as if that weren't enough... all the beaches we passed on our way here! It's a breathtaking view. If you'd like, you can follow the trail down the cliff to Meio, Funda, and Inferno beaches.
Whatever your vibe, the important thing is to relax, breathe and enjoy this stunning panorama.
Once in Grumari, we'll stay at a rustic, secluded kiosk, in a spot where the sea is calm enough for a swim. Enjoy the splendid view around you. It won't take long to understand why this tour is called Tropical Paradise.

Duration: 5 consecutive hours, daily.
Departure time: Morning according to hotel location.
Departure Location: Pick-up at hotels in the city center and South Zone (except those located in Catete, Estácio, and Flamengo). The Santa Teresa, Barra da Tijuca, or Cais do Porto neighborhoods have an additional R$28.00 per person.
Return location: Drop off at original departure point.
