Services for guests staying at the Belmond Cataratas Hotel (located 15km from the entrance to Iguaçu National Park):
- Meeting point at the gate of Iguaçu National Park (for PRIVATE OR REGULAR service): Passengers should be aware that the MMC vehicle will only go as far as the entrance of the National Park. In this case, passengers must go to the entrance of the National Park using the Belmond hotel van and wait for our transport. *Schedules must be coordinated with the reservations department in advance.
Meeting point at the Belmond Hotel reception (inside Iguaçu National Park): Available only as a private tour. This includes a guide and an additional transportation fee to the hotel reception. *Times must be coordinated with the reservations department at least 72 hours in advance.
Services to or from hotels in Puerto Iguazu, Argentina, or Ciudad del Este, Paraguay: please inquire about prices and availability.
Services to or from the Meliã Hotel must be booked exclusively as private transportation; please inquire about prices and availability.
PROTOCOL FOR CROSSING THE BORDER WITH ARGENTINA - UP TO PUERTO IGUAZU
Brazilian tourists must carry an original identity card (issued no more than 10 years ago) OR a passport to cross borders OR a driver's license. No other document will be accepted. Only physical documents will be accepted; virtual documents will not be accepted. If presenting a passport, a sworn statement is required.
Foreign tourists must carry their passport, have a visa to enter Argentina (check which countries are eligible), present proof of vaccinations and a sworn statement;
- Minors under 18 years of age, unaccompanied by their parents or guardians, must have judicial authorization or a death certificate to cross the borders, requiring 02 authenticated copies;
- Subject to the Puerto Iguazú Eco-Tourism tax, which the operator is not responsible for as it is a government tax;
**To take the tour to MINAS DE WANDA or SAN IGNACIO (Ruins), you must bring your identity card or passport. A driver's license will not be accepted.**
