Camino Inca is a great way to hike to Machu Picchu in a short amount of time.
We will start the day at the Ollantaytambo railway station from where we will board the train at around 6 am towards km 104 of the railway. Upon arrival at the Inca Trail, we will meet our tour guide and pass through a checkpoint.
The climb to the Wiñaywayna archaeological complex takes around 3 hours. Once there we will have time to explore and listen to a guided explanation of the ruins. Then we will have lunch and walk for another 2 hours to the Puerta del Sol of Intipunku, from where we will have a spectacular view of Machu Picchu, then we will continue walking for about 45 minutes to Machu Picchu and spend time taking photos and enjoying the magic of the ancient city.
On the second day, we will have a 2:30h guided tour of Machu Picchu, learning all about the Lost City of the Incas. After the guided tour, we will have some free time to explore the town on our own before walking back to Aguas Calientes to catch the train to Ollantaytambo.

The train has two options: Panoramic Train and Classic Train. The Panoramic Train has an additional $35 per route.
