The climb to the Wiñaywayna archaeological complex takes about 3 hours. Once there, we will have time to explore and listen to a guided tour of the ruins. Then, we will have lunch and walk for another 2 hours to the Puerta del Sol de Intipunku, from where we will have a spectacular view of Machu Picchu. Then, we will continue walking for about 45 minutes to Machu Picchu and spend time taking photos and enjoying the magic of the ancient city.
On the second day, we will have a 2.5 hour guided tour of Machu Picchu, learning all about the Lost City of the Incas. After the guided tour, we will have some free time to explore the city on our own before walking back to Aguas Calientes to catch the train to Ollantaytambo.
