On this tour, we will discover the imposing Ducal Palace, with its splendid halls and hundreds of masterpieces. It was here that the Doge and his Council would govern the destiny of the Republic for almost a thousand years. We will experience this history with a guide who will lead us through the halls of power, immersing us in a very particular historical context: the European Middle Ages and the centuries that followed.
Next, our guide will take us on a visit to St. Mark's Basilica, also known as the Golden Basilica due to the gleaming masterpieces that it houses inside. We will admire its impressive structure, the rich materials and the frescoes that will cover the entire façade.
The visit will continue with admission to the iconic Campanile, where we will learn about its intriguing history and climb to the top. From there, we will enjoy a breathtaking view not only of St. Mark's Square, but of the entire city of Venice.
To conclude our journey, we will have an exciting virtual reality experience in the Gallery of St. Mark’s Courtyard that will transport us back in time. With the VR headset, the past will reveal itself: we will see St. Mark’s Square and its iconic monuments as they were in the past. Imagine that the Basilica will be transformed into the Doge’s private chapel and the Doge’s Palace will be converted into a medieval fortress!
