Let's discover the Vatican Museums and the magnificent Sistine Chapel! Inside the Vatican Museums, let yourself be guided by our expert local guide who will explain in detail the main works by the most important artists in the papal collections.
Our first stop is the Cortile della Pigna, an open space adjacent to the museum, which owes its name to the statue located in the center of the courtyard.
Then, at the Pio Clementino Museum, admire the Roman and Greek masterpieces preserved in the museum's 12 rooms.
Visit the Tapestry Gallery, together with the Maps Gallery, where you will have the opportunity to see how our beloved peninsula has changed, geographically speaking, and the traces that history has left on it.
Enter the Borgia Apartment, divided into 6 rooms and commissioned by Pope Alexander VI. Alexander VI was the 214th pope of the Catholic Church, as well as the father of Caesar Borgia, the famous condottiero remembered by the famous Florentine intellectual and writer Niccolò Machiavelli.
At the end of the tour of the Vatican Museums, you will arrive at the Raphael Rooms, designed and painted by the artist himself and his disciples. Let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of the “School of Athens”, located in Stanza della Segnatura.
As a second stop, the Sistine Chapel awaits you. Here you will see Michelangelo's hand. You will find yourself in front of an unprecedented work of art that will leave you breathless thanks to its harmony of colors.
