Activity description
Embark on a unique and unforgettable experience in the heart of Los Glaciares National Park. The journey begins at Puerto Bajo de las Sombras, where a boat will take us across Brazo Rico to the west coast, a majestic landscape that foretells what's to come.
Upon arrival, our expert guides will welcome you to provide activity details and divide us into small groups of 10 people, ensuring a more personalized experience. At the shelter located at the base, you can leave your belongings and prepare in comfort before embarking on your adventure.
We'll embark on a fascinating two-hour trek through the Patagonian-Magellanic Andean forest, where the sounds of nature and the scent of the forest will envelop you. The reward comes upon reaching the southern moraine of the imposing Perito Moreno Glacier, where breathtaking views will leave you speechless.
Lunch break with unforgettable views (we remind you that lunch is not included and must be brought from El Calafate, as there are no points of sale on site).
Once on the glacier, the world changes completely.
You'll find yourself surrounded by crystal-clear blue lagoons, deep crevasses, enormous sinkholes, and dreamlike ice caves. The contrast of colors and shapes will make you feel like you're in a landscape from another planet. During the 3.5-hour ice tour, our guides will not only ensure your safety but also immerse you in the history and secrets of the glaciers, their origins, and the unique characteristics of this region.
The return journey will take us back through the Magellanic Forest, where each step will allow us to take in the magnitude of what we've experienced. We'll climb back into the boat, which will sail very close to the southern wall of the glacier, offering another impressive perspective of this ice giant.
As a final touch, you'll have the opportunity to contemplate the immensity and majesty of Perito Moreno from its walkways, a perfect place to capture the best photographs and create an indelible memory.
